Welcome to Norsha Notes! These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Norsha Dynamics, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our," or "Norsha Dynamics"). By accessing or using the Norsha Notes web application ("Platform" or "Service") at norshanotes.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Norsha Notes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
When you create an account, we ask for your date of birth to verify your age. If you are under 13, you will not be permitted to create an account or use our services.
If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Norsha Notes with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

Norsha Notes is an AI-powered web-based study platform designed to help you learn more effectively. The Platform transforms your notes and uploaded materials into powerful study tools.
All AI generation is powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash. Your content is processed securely through Google's services to deliver Platform features.

All applicable taxes are additional. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect your current subscription period.
All purchases are processed through Stripe. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment details. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their security standards.
IMPORTANT: PRO MONTHLY, PRO YEARLY, AND SCHOLAR SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers to any paid plan. If you're not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase.

This guarantee applies only to your first paid subscription purchase and cannot be used for subsequent renewals or the Lifetime plan.
After the 7-day guarantee period, subscriptions are generally non-refundable.
When you cancel a subscription, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your account will then automatically downgrade to the Free plan. Your saved study guides and content remain accessible.
Study guide generation is limited based on your subscription plan (see Section 4). Usage limits reset on the first day of each calendar month at 12:00 AM UTC. Unused study guides do not roll over.
A "study guide" counts as one generation request regardless of input length or output type. Regenerating content counts as an additional use. Paste input limits apply per generation request: Free (7,000 chars), Pro (15,000 chars), and Scholar/Lifetime (50,000 chars).
Image upload limits for guide generation are: Free (3 images), Pro (6 images), and Scholar/Lifetime (10 images) per generation request. Daily Nora image upload limits reset at midnight UTC.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
You retain ownership of the content you upload or paste ("User Content"). Norsha Dynamics owns the Platform, its underlying technology, and all proprietary systems. AI-generated outputs (study guides, flashcards, quizzes, glossaries, tutor responses) are provided to you for personal and educational use. You may use AI outputs for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes without restriction.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it. AI-generated study materials are meant to supplement — not replace — your own learning and critical thinking. Do not rely on AI-generated content as your sole source of information for exams, assignments, or important decisions.
Norsha Notes is not a substitute for professional educational or tutoring advice. We are not responsible for any academic outcomes or consequences resulting from your use of AI-generated content.
The AI Tutor (Nora) supports voice input via the Web Speech API, a browser-native feature. When you use voice input:
Voice input availability depends on your browser's support for the Web Speech API. We have no control over how your browser or device handles audio data at the hardware level.
You may upload images (e.g., photos of handwritten notes, diagrams) when generating study guides or when sending a message to the AI Tutor (Nora). All plans support image uploads subject to the limits described in Section 7. When you upload an image:
By uploading images, you represent that you have the right to share those images and that they do not contain content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
"User Content" means any content you provide to the Platform, including notes, text, and images you upload. You retain all ownership rights in your User Content.
By using Norsha Notes, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, process, reproduce, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Platform's features, processing your content through our AI systems, improving and developing our services, providing customer support, and complying with legal requirements.
The Platform, including its design, features, code, branding, logos, and documentation, is owned by Norsha Dynamics, LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our Platform without our written permission.
You agree not to:

This data is used solely to improve your personal study experience and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Norsha Notes, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement; warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; and warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORSHA DYNAMICS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; service interruption; cost of substitute services; academic outcomes or educational consequences; or any matter beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Norsha Dynamics, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time via account settings or by emailing contact@norshadynamics.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, we are required to do so by law, we discontinue the Platform, or we reasonably believe your account poses a security risk.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We will delete your personal information and User Content within 30 days, except as required for legal compliance. Sections covering Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact us at contact@norshadynamics.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve disputes within 60 days of receiving notice.
If informal resolution fails, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, United States. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.
You and Norsha Dynamics agree that any disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against us.
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide 30 days' advance notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform before the changes take effect.
